I Think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it’s like to feel absolutely worthless and they don’t want anyone else to feel like that.” Robin Williams
Why do I laugh so much, many ask me. Why? Otherwise, I’d be crying. That’s my answer, in the form of a joke. People laugh some more. And, walk away with a smile.
I do genuinely try to find the “funny” in situations. I almost always do. Sometimes, even when things should be somber. I’m predisposed to joy. To feel joy. But life has never been easy. And, underneath it all lurks a darker emotional world. And, so it is for many.

So true! We have to find that healthy balance of helping people in need, but not forgetting about our own needs.

For me, I think I laugh and use humor because it’s the only way to be able to have those feelings. The world is a bittersweet world, it’s easy to dwell in the bitter, so sometimes it helps to add sweetener. I like this post. Be well.
