I was recently re-watching the animated television show called Adventure Time. For a children’s show, it is rather dark. It takes place in the land of Ooo – a post apocalyptic wasteland which was ravaged by a cataclysmic event known as the “Mushroom War”, a nuclear war that destroyed civilization a thousand years before the series’ events. A dark, dark place for a bunch of odd adventures for Finn the Human and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake the Dog, who has magical powers to change shape and size at will. But I not here to talk about the show. Just the title. And, my headspace.

Here it is. It’s time for a new adventure. It can even be a post-apocalyptic adventure. Well, maybe not. Although, the way things have been it sure feels like I’ve been living through an apocalypse. It’s time to go hunt down some fun times. It’s time to go have some fun. It’s actually time for misadventures for those are the best.
