It is easy to wax nostalgic and think of what we believed to have been good times. Believed. Sometimes those so-called “good” times weren’t really so. However, our brain starts playing games and lulls us into thinking those bad ones were actually good times. Or it could be that the bad times only goood worse and everything is relative. This, however, is not where I had wanted to venture off into today.
I just had a simple thought for the day.
Times may be rough, scary, and anxiety-producing. But we still need to live in the now. We need to look forward. However, the now matters. If you look too far back seeking fond memories or past feelings and answers, you may get too distracted from today. Simple.
Live for the now.
