She didn’t understand what the play was about. She didn’t get the fervor. But she did get clarity. At least for the moment. She understood, as she drifted, that she was where she was meant to be.
There is a certain deliciousness to it all. As the audience clapped and cheered, she felt more confident in herself and what she needed to do next. She was going to burn it all down and let the chips fall where they needed to.
