Despite the clouds, she squinted while she looked up at the sky. There was enough sun to give her a migraine. But the teddy bear was too cute to ignore. She had a feeling that she was the only one that could see him up there. Which was fine with her.
He was her angel anyway. She was the one that sent him up there by tossing him aside. She still felt guilty about it. But apparently, he forgave her the misdeed as he waved at her.
She smiled, raised herself up and started to walk. Then a bolt from the sky knocked her back down. Maybe she wasn’t forgiven, after all?
