Some days are just meant to be a bit off. And some days are just meant to be days in which you have to be vigilant. Ominous sounding? Well, nothing bad happened but it is a weird night indeed when you are glad you brought a taser […]
I am a huge baseball fan. Sadly for me, I’m in Dodger land. You know, the team that betrayed Brooklyn and went out west. Nowadays. Sports teams readily move from city to city eschewing fan loyalty. The Los Angeles Dodgers made their cross-country move decades ago. Before I […]
I am of the belief that when it is someone’s birthday, you have to also congratulate their mother. It is a belief I came to many, many years ago and it’s been ingrained into my DNA. My birthday is in grand part a celebration of my mother’s love […]
I am an avid political junkie that went cold turkey about 7 months ago. I suppose that may mean I was an avid political junkie. I had to go cold-turkey despite decades of trying to understand and predict the politcial landscape. I couldn’t stand watching the so-called news […]

I’m a spring baby. One would think that I would be ok with flowers, grass and trees overall. Howecer, I tend to get horrific spring and fall allergies. Yet, my allergies don’t stop me from looking fondly at tulips and the like. As an allergy-ridden New Yorker […]
I have this really obnoxious friend that has been to probably 100 or more countries at this point in life. That isn’t the obnoxious part. But I won’t go into why he is so obnoxious and why it is that he is my friend. I tend to […]
Summer is about to hit soooner than we realize it. Lamentably, spring always goes by so quickly. And for those of us that are older and need a summer reprieve, that season flashes quickly by. Then autumn comes and the beauty of the earth really shines through. Or […]
