She stared at the photograph which was not remarkable in any way. Yet, she was transfixed. She stared and remembered. Memories were stirred and an ache formed in her chest.
The photograph was of a lonely street she had walked a few years back when travel was readily accessible and available. When she had roamed free taking in random sights that heightened her sense of being part of the world. Now she walked lonely streets that made her feel empty inside.
Time for a change is due.
She needed to roam. She wanted to touch the world again.
