A few days ago I noted my end-of-the-year tradition of selecting a word for the coming year. The word is meant to motivate or frame what is to come. I really enjoyed the year in which I selected the word “joy”. I continously reminded myself on varying situations I was to not let anyone steal my joy.

For this year, I thought that maybe my word would be “decisive”. But I was a bit ambivalent about that word. Yes, it was ironic. As such, I didn’t connect to the word. I have come to pick a new word that I think will fit this upcoming year better. I now have picked “unstuck”.
