I spent part of this weekend getting motivated to work on my new apartment. It is a slow journey. Covid has preoccupied me. Life has put other distractions in my life. The other part of my weekend I actually motivated myself to further fix my entryway. I ordered a new welcome mat. I put up five art pieces. I got a cute umbrella stand. I put up the fake flowers my mother liked.

Motivation. It’s a nice thing. And to make the entryway welcoming means everything to becoming rooted. I’m warmly inviting others to be part of my new home. Roots. Rooted. Rooting. Hopeful.

Entryways are important. They say so much about the resident.

They very much do. It’s the introduction to you.
