They were laughing so hard that they didn’t even realize how far up they had already hiked. They had been friends since college but didn’t get a chance to see each other often.   But they all had made a point to finally get together, enjoy each other and life. They wanted to leave all their life stressors behind.

They were so happy that they hadn’t seen the sign on the hike. Then the sky went from sunny to the dark in a nanosecond. And Bill became enraged running up ahead of them all. They all quickly started running after him without realizing they were doing so.

As they rounded the corner, out of breath, they each started falling over the precipice. As they looked up to the sky, they each saw the force field and reached up.
