She was seated, rooted in her spot. Everything kept moving around her but she couldn’t stand. She couldn’t be bothered to move about. She was weighed down by everything. Her shoulders truly bore the weight of the world. She wanted to be light. She wanted to shine and be a flicker. She needed to find a way to herself. Surely, a path could be found.
As she considered her future, she finally was able to stand. She stepped outside and found that everyone else had already departed. They were now a flicker. They had left her breadcrumbs and she was going to eat them up and be one with the universe. She will shine and everyone will feel her warmth.
