She looked out the car window with her nose out in the air just like her doggie used to do. She had the strongest sense of dejavu but couldn’t place it. She knew she had felt this scene before. She had smelled this. She had soaked this all in. But how? When? What lifetime?
There was no way a girl like her could have bee to a place like this in this lifetime. She was born knowing she had existed before. Her mom said she had entered the world with wide eyes. She knew. She knew how it would all end. The operating table was waiting.
