Not some tidbit on the buffet table

To have a seat at the table ready to partake

But the chair is rickety and flimsy

The wooden floor sunken

The table setting in disarray

The kitchen flow uncoordinated

Having a seat at the table could be overrated

Sometimes is a mirage

Sometimes you’re actually part of the menu

Sometimes you’re dressing

But let’s make it clear

Not some tidbit on the buffet table

Push aside the rickety chair

Rise up and walk away
