Walk a mile in my shoes

I dare you to wear the heels with the crown on

Try to hear the truth and the whispers

Ignore the lies and the self-serving gossip

Be a trailblazer and not a scorched-earth minion

Wear the linty coat while holding onto lofty ideals

Be a partner and not an antagonistic shell

Walk a mile with a smile

Then you’ll understand
