A year ago we were steeped in a covid world. We were trying to figure out how to live outside and not let fear take over. A year ago, you couldn’t readily buy lysol, wipes or N95 masks. A friend had visited me from California and was excited to see cans of lysol for sale. So excited that she contemplated buying a new suitcase to pack with cleaning supplies. I talked her out of it.
While I talked her out of overbuying cleaning supplies, my freezer was packed with food in case the worst scenario came to fruition. What scenario I was envisioning back then, eludes me now.
I do know that this past weekend, I cleaned out my freezer of items that had “expired”.

It’s odd to compare where we are now vs. a year ago. Glad you and your son came through ok and with plenty of food and Lysol! 😁
