Masks are the new bumper stickers

I don’t drive. Never driven. Technically don’t own a car. Yet, I keep getting all those car insurance scam calls. We need someone to stop these immediately. Whatever happened to the Do not call list? But I digress.

I don’t own a car. I’ve never placed a bumper sticker on a car. Sure, maybe I would put my alma mater bumper sticker. But why would I care to let people know where I went to school? Will the next driver be less likely to cut me off if they went to the same school? I don’t see that being a factor.

Now, while I don’t have a car I do have masks. Many masks due to covid. Now we can have some random fun. What message do I want my face to convey?

I can support voting, a local bakery or a special brand of shoes. I can even support my alma mater.

  1. My teenage son came home today with an election mask supporting the names of a couple of students running for president and vice president of the student council. I asked him if he knew them. No. I asked him if he will wear the mask. Yes.
