Sometimes we get ahead of ourselves. We want something and decide to go fully in. And then we realize that was perhaps a bit premature. Back in November, I had a meeting with some powers that be who noted that there were certain people who sometimes took on way too much more than they should. They noted that some people just can’t, don’t know, how to recognize when they are not ready. They try to leapfrog ahead to the front of the line.
What’s the lesson here? Self-reflection. Introspective lens. Ego checks. Understanding when it truly is the right time to roll them. Ah, Kenny Rogers.
