Early in the am, I stopped and took in this rainbow public art. And, just thought of how much I love my beloved New York City.
It’s a place where even at 5am, you can find a place to be yourself. It’s a place where at 5am everything may seem fuzzy yet comforting. This particular work of public art by Jonathan Borofsky, is meant to encourage us to connect with one another and it is perfectly placed in New York City’s Penn Station where 100s come by each day from all over the world.

I love New York too. I haven’t been able to get back there since 2013, but it’s the centre of the universe. Whatever you want to do, you can do it in NY and no 2 days are ever the same.

NYC is such an exciting, amazing city that is constantly reinventing itself and evolving, yet retains that essential heart and character. I’m going back in the fall to see the things I didn’t get to last time. Great post!

“Another hundred people just got off of the train and are looking at us , who got off of the bus…it’s a city of strangers , some come to work, some to play and every day another hundred people…” Stephen Sondheim. Your post reminded me of these lyrics which I may not have quite right as it is many years ago I knew them
