She knew she had failed. It was a lost cause. Well, it was never meant to be found. There was never any light that could shine brightly enough to set a clear path. But now she had to push the reset button and figure out what to do next.
She wasn’t used to failing and such flailing about. But this is what it was. The city was burning and she had no time for games. She took her flare gun and went running, screaming down the streets. This time she wouldn’t fail because this time there was no plan.
