It pains me
It confounds me
It torments me
One day, I won’t be here for you anymore
One day, I will wave goodbye
One day, You will live on without my arms around you
Only pictures will remain
And my joyous tears no more
I don’t know when
But assuredly it’s a certainty
My pain reverberates
It permeates
It motivates
It inundates
Flooded with emotion
Will love, learn and grow together
As much as can be
As much as you will have me
Remember me
Remember us
Remember you
Remember them, that are to come

Sad but true, and how I feel sometimes when I think about my adult daughters.
