Little girl blue
Tried and tried to cry
Yet no tears fell from her eyes
Broken heart and broken ducts
Even onions brought forth no tears
She was done at midnight
She was running on empty
She was out of fairy godmothers
Little girl blue
Tried and tried to cry
Yet she just had her shoe in which to live
Broken promises and broken connections
Even her sheep brought no relief
She watched a sad song
Sang a sad scene
Bled her finger
Little girl blue
Tried and tried to cry
She knew she was sad
She knew she was mad
She knew she was had
What did she have to do to make those tears come?
She longed mightily for tears
For they would remind her she was human
For they would tell her she had moved on
For they would unburden her heavy, heavy heart
Little girl blue
Tried and tried to cry
Yet no tears fell from her eyes
Broken heart and broken ducts
Even onions brought forth no tears
She bathed in the rain
And so her body did cry
