Lord, take me where you want me to go. Let me meet who you want me to meet. Tell me what you want me to say, and keep me out of your way”-prayer by FDNY Chaplain Father Mychal Judge, OFM, who died 20 years ago while ministering at the World Trade Center September11
Not much to write about today, as we reach the end of the week. It’s been both long and short. Tiring and invigorating. And, a time of reflection.
In this vein, I’m reminded of Father Judge of the FDNY who administered a prayer to soothe so many broken, scared hearts in the midst of unspeakable horror. Today, I quietly say “Lord, take me where you want me to go…”
May the road light up and point to bright stars.
