Truth is treason in a world of lies– Ron Paul
Sometimes even an individual with whom you may not wholeheartedly agree with states a gem of insight. Here’s the one for today.
American politician Ron Paul (not Ran) noted that “truth is treason in a world of lies”. Ironically (perhaps) I have found that phrase to be complete perfect for this point in time across many fields.
Many people want to hold on and present a certain image that may be fake. They may even believe it themselves. Some people may believe their own hype. They say their lies and hyperbole so often it becomes concrete and a truth in their own minds. They basically gaslight themselves. Once you gaslight yourself it’s very easy to gaslight others to the point that truth means nothibg. It actually means less than nothing. It becomes a deficit in an interaction.
I’ll get back to the main point here. The theme for the week. Truth is treason for many. And I say, so what. Forge ahead with your truth. Some may see treason and betrayal. Others will be liberated. A free soul and mind are not to be discounted.

It’s circular: education is failing us, but those who educate are themselves caught up in the lies – so how do we slowly spiral up instead of down?
Even in the best of circumstances, education takes time – and lies have rushed out to fill the spaces long before that. The gullible and those who can’t handle the complexity of the world are looking for leaders, but only easy ones, and those are useless.
