Permit me a moment of sad vanity

I often, jokingly, note how perfect my skin is. Well, not jokingly. Rather mischievous humilty. My skin is rather perfect. I stayed away from makeup and chemicals while younger. I had seen the facial wreckage from years of makeup use. I did not want that. Hence, fairly smooth skin.

Now, fast forward to today. My skin is suffering here and there. And, it’s all the masks. Especially now that I double mask, my face gets sweatier. There’s more condensation. I had stayed away ftom makeup in large bits, only to be taken down by a mask or two. I know there are worse things occurring right now. Yey, its these little things changed by the pandemic that sometimes have a larger mental impact.
