The empty stage

She had listened to tbe rainfall all night. And, her mind raced and her heart stirred. She was uneasy.  Tears had streamed down her cheeks and she couldn’t sleep. She then sprung up and went to see the stage.

The empty stage. Emptiness. She had felt it all night. She cried tears hoping it would help her feel. She wanted to feel on the empty stage. But all she had were tears. She didn’t want to go back home to cry some more. But it didn’t matter. Emptiness would follow and fill all voids.
