Fire. Hot. Blazing. Her mind was racing and in overdrive about to burst into open flames. She couldn’t focus. She tried to distract herself but nothing readily worked.

She took to pulling at her scabs. She took to biting her nails and arms. She walked and talked quickly. She would have to come up with a solution. But for now she would temper her mind and try not to throw any more salt onto her open wonds. She was going to burn. But could she come back from it was the question.
