Memes. How did we live without them many years back. They are everywhere and in everything. Ok. Let’s be real. Memes have always existed. They are fables, morals and story snippets that are passed on from person to person. We’ve always done that. If you look up the term you’ll see that it is explained as “unit of cultural information, as a concept, belief, or practice, that spreads from person to person in a way analogous to the transmission of genes”. The internet speeds it all up.
On Facebook, I often see memes that are funny or capture a moment perfectly. For example, someone posted a few weeks back a simple statement that made me chuckle.
I needed to hear that I shouldn’t buy another item from Amazon. Sadly, I still went ahead and did so. In my defense, so is almost everyone else.
Today, my little bit of wisdom is simple. I don’t know who needs to hear this today but you can be strong and still be kind.
That’s it.
