I would like to mambo and cha cha
I would like to hope, skip, and jump
I would like to toss a grenade
wait
I would like to toss a ball
And catch a purpose
While catching a sunrise day in and day out
I would like to check the cobwebs and find a diamond strand
I would like to flambé
Toss me a hot pan to create a burst of flames
And I will build a dramatic sunset
As well as develop a rich flavor for life
There is joy to be found in a shiny glaze
Coat your perspective and
Flambé your path to happiness

I’m glad you decided to toss the ball and not the grenade! A delightful poem – I smiled.
