Today we were asked to think about what would happen if we woke up and it was ten days later. I can tell you I would be mighty bummed out to have missed my son’s formative years and have missed seeing New Orleans become the grand city it can be. I have grand hopes for that city! However, I know that through it all integrity and picking right up and reaching for it all will still be part of my DNA. I will fly like an eagle.
Fly like an eagle: Soar and land with grace
Be majestic in flight
Never be a blight
Rise up high
Never letting integrity die
Let your wise wings expand
Never be a robot and bland
Land with a humble bow
There will be no furrowed brow
Be filled with grand grace
Integrity will be your mace
