Ashes To Earth: May you Rest Peacefully in the Water
Ashes of life, of a good humble life, glisten in the stream.
The brightness of your love carries me forth through my dreams
To a paradise your spirit goes, coming up against the softened rocks
Halting forever more the often-rushed day-to-day clock
Your life is now ephemeral
Your legacy glistens like an emerald
And you have found peace

Peace is like sunlight, you have to yearn toward it, you cannot hold it in your hand. I love this poem, it brought me a moment’s peace.
