Do you have any collections? I love collecting items. Although, lately, I have been getting rid of some items that have needed to go away a while ago. Other things I’ve been moving on are those that sadly need to move on so we can mentally move on. […]
What sacrifices have you made in life? This will be short and to the point. Hopefully, there will be no digressions. I have made a lot of sacrifices in life to move on out of poverty and to help family and friends. Recently, I almost made a bad […]
How do you feel about cold weather? I am a warm-blooded person. I need heat and warmth. However, please keep humidity away. My hair, most certainly, detests humidity. Waking up to 100-degree Florida summers, for example, is unbearable to the overall well-being of my hair. Which is why […]
Have you ever broken a bone? Whenever someone asks a question such as “Have you ever broken a bone,” I flinch. Why, you ask? Simple. The second I answer it, I feel like I’m jinxing myself. I’m a very superstitious person, and in answering “no” to such a […]
How do you balance work and home life? I used to scoff at the notion of work/life balance. If you like work well enough, it can become part of your life. There need not be a separation between life and work. Now, I’m not too sure I feel […]

Are you a leader or a follower? Unfortunately, I was born to be a leader. Don’t get me wrong, I am a good leader. Some might disagree. But for the most part, I have led, fairly, equitably, and strategically. I have a way of seeing the big picture […]
What’s one small improvement you can make in your life? This week was supposed to be one on which I could finally get some certainty and make decisions. Yet, the week continues to be one in which I continue to have a mounting set of problems and decisions […]
What was the last live performance you saw? It’s been ages since I saw a performance in some kind of stage. I have actually been quite fortunate to watch live performances-really good jazz ones- on the block down from me in Brooklyn. That is one beautiful, awesome part […]
What gives you direction in life? Eureka! I loved that highly underrated television show. But, I am not here to talk about that quirky, goofy show. I experienced a “eureka” moment the other night. I struck gold. I had a lightbulb moment. Well, in reverse order. I didn’t […]
