For some people whether the neighbor ever sleeps or not is a moot point. They don’t live close enough to be a nuisance or entertainment. When you live in the city, it is something entirely different.

In my high-rise apartment I do not really hear my neighbors. However, I’ve lived in smaller apartment buildings and have visited friends who live in paper thin apartments.

One of the funniest situations, is that of the neighbor who is always awake. Always. Can be 3pm in the afternoon abd you hear them stomping. Could be midnight you hear them pacing. Could be 4am you hear thrm hurriedly walking about. Then you hear them at 7am vacuuming.

You start to wonder about whether they are himan. How can someone always be awake? And not only awake, but moving about.
