She sat at the booth feeling sad, nostalgic, and hungry. She had eaten a rather large breakfast. Yet, she felt empty. Perhaps it was just her soul. Thoughts on how to feed her soul kept her mind spinning in circles. She ordered a drink to just taste sonething both sweet and sour. Just like her life.

As she looked around, twirling her straw, she noticed there were actual condiments on the table. Most restaurants no longer offered salt. Something about being healthy. But she believed it was more about pride and snootiness. She craved salt. She wanted that Himalayan pink salt just for the fun of it. She thought about all the ways one can salt something. Saltiness was all around her. She felt bathed in the salty nature of people. How unfortunate for us all.
