I love Twitter. Sometimes people are surprised that I get “news” from Twitter. Why not? I know how to research and dig deeper. It’s a funny platfirm that can give you an odd snapshot into the collective. And, they often have silly top of the head trending words.
The last few days, they posted a word puzzle noting that the first three words you see will describe your year 2021. It’s a silly exercise and really is not predictive. Of course. However, it is interesting what people do “see”.
In the word puzzle, I first saw “crabs”, “pizza”, and “friends”. I’m allergic to shellfish but hopefully I will be able to walk on a sandy, crab-filled beach. I need a vacation desperately. In terms of pizza, well it’s my son’s favorite food. Yet, he did get a mild case of food poisoning from it recently. Yikes. Nothing worse for your favorite thing to cause you harm. Lastly, friends are going to continue to be key for the upcoming year.
Are such silly things predictive? No, but how you interpret them do give you insight into yourself and world lens.
