What does it mean to be a kid at heart?
A kid at heart, that’s the start,
Love jumping in puddles, a form of art,
When raindrops do play,
It’s just the best way,
To bring joy and laughter, it imparts.
April Fools, pranks, such fun they impart,
Makeup on my dog was quite the chart,
Riling up snoozing hounds,
With mirth that resounds,
Giggles and glee, they’re quite the heart.
Pop culture, oh, what a spree,
Authenticity mixed with a bit of glee,
I poke fun, I adore,
Yet love it to the core,
For whimsy, magic, and dances in the ego me.
Being grown-up is quite a part,
But whimsy, it’s a crucial dart,
Believing in kismet’s twist,
Hope, randomness, don’t resist,
They keep my spirits light, not tart.
So, what’s being a kid at heart?
It’s joy in puddles, a whimsical art,
It’s rain and some laughter,
With pranks that come after,
And dancing in showers, that’s the start.
