What would your life be like without music?
When you are scared on a flight, music can ease your plight. When you’re sad and grieving, music can provide a melody to help with the dreaming. When you’re ecstatic because of a big win, music can provide a dancing fin. When you’re angry and filled with rage, music can get you on a new page.
Music can be everything.
It has soothed and calmed me. It has provided me with a mental reprieve. That love of music comes from my mother. She had a love of music as it transported her to other dream worlds. Every Sunday the house was filled with harmonies. We danced and giggled together. It was a lovely time. I wish that I could still do that with her. But I know that when I dance, she’s probably taking a step with me.

People always talk about smell as the primal sense that brings back memories, but I also feel music does the same.
