You get there
by realizing you are already there
Eckhart Tollee
Life is undoubtedly a journey. Hopefully, it will be a long one. But because the journey’s length is unknown to us, we must notably make the most of each day. In this journey, we strive to accomplish many things and to “get there.” The “there” varies for each of us. At some point, we need to give ourselves a breather and realize where we are. We need to recognize and acknowledge the present. Be in the moment. Otherwise, you just may miss out on grand and small things in life that can bring out a glimmer, a moment of happiness and peace.

One of the hardest things about being chronically ill is KNOWING you are wasting the little time you have – and not having the energy to do more than barely survive some days.
It is a bitter realization.
