I like cacophony

What’s your favorite word?

I love words. Simple ones such as joy. Complicated ones such as Onomatopoeia. Words can bridge gap. Words can complicate matters. Spoken versus written words can take on completely different meanings.

Because of my love of the chaotic symphony, words can pose, I love the word cacophony. I hardly ever get to use it anywhere. When I do, I often get blank stares. But that’s ok. Subdued silence is the perfect response to the use of the word cacophony, particularly if the word is describing what’s occurring right in the moment.

Words, words, words. Enjoy them. Relish them. Take note of what might be the right word in a particular moment.
