On this day of freedom, I let go of….

Today is the Fourth of July. In the United States, weather permitting, we have grand fireworks celebrations to mark our grand day of freedom. The 4th or Independence Day is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence of the United States, on July 4, 1776.

On this day, more importantly than ever after all that we have bern through this past year, it is also important to think of what freedome means to us personally. I’ve given it great thought this week noting that fear imprisons us.

Today, I recommend taking five minutes to think of what you can let go so you can be free.

I let go of hatred and animosity.

I let go of disdain for the evil people in my life. I am to put them to the side and create happy spaces in my heart and brain.

Watch the fireworks with true awe and regard. Just be present in the moment.
