Nothing simpler than a boy and his dog. A boy staring into the loving eyes of his dog and feeling safe and secure from all that there is in the world. Love in its purest form.

That was my Christmas day. I watched as my son embraced his dog and connected on this level of humanity. Animals, and especially pets, can make us more human. Provide a safe zone for empathy and a warm embrace.
