She craved sweetness in her life. Hmm. Sugar. Sustenance. Mixed in with saltiness. No bitterness. There was too much of that in life right now.

She cracked a few eggs and went about making breakfast for everyone. They all needed (wanted) their eggs cooked differently. And, she would of course cater to them. It was what she did. Almost robotically. This was her beautiful life. But it didn’t feel like it was once in a lifetime. That’s why she held that ticket in her pocket.
