She rushed home tired from work wanting a small reprieve. She wanted time to decompress and be lazy, even if for just 5 minutes. She felt she deserved that time.
She went straight to the bathroom and ran started to run her bath. The water was deliciously hot. She quickly undressed and sank into the tub immediately dreaming of better days that had been. She wished she could catch a falling star and have all her dreams come true. But she knew better. She knew it was not meant to be. She laid still as the family came home and she heard the tears. She too cried. But they would never know that.
