Lately several of my clothing items have had loose threads. They’ve been caught on bag zippers, doorknobs, and tacks. Walking through my office is a minefield, at times.
I hate loose threads. I don’t sew. Thus, my natural inclination is to rip it off. Sometimes gingerly and other times just yanking at it. Depends on my state of mind and how full my patience bucket may be.
One could try to tie off a loose thread as well. But what is the point of that? I suppose it saves the clothing item from becoming undone. The question becomes how much do I want to invest in fixing a loose thread?
Of course, loose threads are not just in clothing. These exist in interpersonal relationships, as well.
