Everything is rusted but flowers can still bloom.   Such a sentiment keeps her going day in and day out.  Although, even a cactus couldn’t survive her care.  It seemed like there was a dark cloud hanging over her. Everything around her was rusting away. No one was left to help her with her battles.

Hollyhocks can grow and then the monsters dig them up by the roots and devour them.

She steadied herself, picked up the flowers and walked down the street. This was her apocalypse.

She entered the church, walked down the aisle and dropped the flowers at the altar.
