My lifelong trip goal of going to Alaska has come and gone. And, the trip was wonderful. While,the travel itself was tedious at best. A delayed red-eye flight is no fun. However, because of the delayed red-eye flight, I got a chance to catch an awesome, inspiring, fiery sunrise up in the air.

I woke up bleary-eyed on my flight to catch the sunrise. I peered out my window, made a wish, and felt grateful to catch the rise of a new day. Makes one feel optimism, albeit possibly short-lived, for the world.
