Rise and shine and be merry. And, as Truman noted each morning to his Truman Show neighbors “good morning, and in case I don’t see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!” Yuck. I can be sunny, but I don’t believe I’ve ever been that chipper. I think I would vomit up my coffee if I were to be so chipper. I live in a New York building of 52 floors, the real friendly people grunt hello. I am actually exaggerating there and playing into the stereotypes to just make a point.
In all seriousness, though, I do need two cups of coffee by 6:30AM to get myself going. I know that I am not the only one. However, I do like to great each day as what it is: full of possibilities. Just because the sun came out yesterday, it’s no guarantee it’ll be out today. Each day has its own course, rhythm and rhyme.
You have to leave yesterday’s baggage behind. There’s plenty that can go wrong or right today.
