When are you most happy?
In a world that’s a bit mad and quite merry,
I find joy in moments, not just any,
When my son laughs aloud,
And the dinner table’s endowed,
With laughter, gnocchi, and wine, oh so cherry!
Bread pudding, a delight, a taste so divine,
In serenity and calm, my happiness align,
A purpose, a goal met,
To the future, no regret,
Dancing to the rhythm, oh, the joy that’s mine!
A workout, a challenge, a triumphant feat,
Goals achieved, future dreams on repeat,
Favorite shows on the screen,
With my drink, so serene,
Dogs on my lap, life’s sweetest suite.
Ah, the bliss of a night’s restful embrace,
Tickling my son, dogs savoring their grace,
Gifts bringing delight,
In travels, the world in my sight,
Curiosity embraced, in being me, I find solace.
And as I explore, new horizons unfold,
Laughter, my son’s, a treasure untold,
In the journey of giving,
In the joy of living,
Happiness found in stories yet to be told.

I love the decorations in the picture. If one can find joys in simple things, then happiness is definitely, and abundantly within reach! Merry Christmas!
