Create an emergency preparedness plan.
A few years back, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released guidelines as to what to do in a zombie apocalypse. People laughed, giggled, and were generally bemused. What were to make of such guidelines? Did the CDC know something that we didn’t? Well, knowing the CDC, they probably thought they knew something but probably didn’t. Actually, it was a bit tongue in cheek to showcase a larger lesson around emergency preparedness, but why not prepare just in case? Seriously.
Strange things have been afoot for a few years now. We all know it. The earth’s orbit is slightly off sync, and the heat wave may be melting many brains away. Bears are breaking into homes, and flamingoes are on the run becoming fugitives. Soon, there will be a movie about a fugitive flamingo hiding away in Florida, of all places.
Here’s my plan. I often get wind of things before others. I knew of the city lockdown before it happened and warned people to do what they had to do. Thus, if I ever use the word “bumfuzzle” just get up and run as far away as you can.

In Florida we had a “bath salt zombie” guy got shot a bunch of times and wouldn’t go down. They claimed these were people high on bath salts. Thing is, people have been high on that here for years. This was the first time someone became a CANNIBAL because of it. And doctors will tell you, it doesn’t matter how high you are. Being high doesn’t make you resist so many bullets.
