A friend, while supportive, also challenges you at the right moment

What quality do you value most in a friend?

Over the last three years, I have come to really understand a true “ride or die” friendship. A friend who listens and cries with you. A friend who doesn’t judge. A friend that will drop everything to be there with you in a moment of crisis.

There are many people out there who have hundreds, even thousands, of Facebook friends. However, we know most of those aren’t nowhere near even being close to acquaintances. I once had a business meeting where someone said to me, “Oh yeah, we’re connected on Facebook, right?”

A friend, while supportive, also challenges you at the right moment. A friend is a person you wish to talk to when lonely, scared, or excited.

When it comes to friendship, strive for quality over quantity.
