She walked through the fields deep in her thoughts. She felt alone, discarded and confused. She wanted to scream. But it couldn’t be here as no one would hear her.
And, she wanted to be heard. She wanted her screams to pierce the blue sky. She needed an audience. She went to the discarded appliance and opened its door. Empty shelves. Empty core. She stepped inside and let the door close on her. And, she cried for all that was lost.
